Say hi to Dominique

“Jack of all trades, master of none” would be a good way to start this intro - but obviously an exaggeration. The only reason I use this is because of my swervy career path, going from graphic design in high school to organizing events, consulting events, a five year taurine filled school of hard knocks at Red Bull (Culture Marketing, RBE and RBMA), having a peek behind the scenes at Sony Music and passing by a Brussels comms and ad-agency.

Now, ending up under the cosy roof of House of Media, I can apply my experience in my role as Production Coach/Head of Production. I’ll definitely do my best to add a splash of awesomesauce on projects myself, in tandem, or teach and help those who want to know the tricks I’ve learned over the years.

Let's make it happen!

Having worked as an art director and/or producer on video and photo campaigns for brands like Polestar, Alpro, Le Pain Quotidien, Recupel, Bellerose, city of Brussels, Payconiq, HEMA, GAIA, … I feel comfortable working for small, big and bigger clients. The fulfillment of seeing anything you worked on getting turned into something tangible is a feeling that keeps coming back with each project.

Say cheese

Being very visually oriented from a young age, it won’t surprise you that I’m also dabbling with photography on the side. Partly because I just love doing it, partly because it’s a form of therapy to me. Mainly street photography, a portrait here and there and an assignment now and then. Feel free to have a peek on Insta (@brion.dominique).

OH! And also recently found out I’m officially on IMDB thanks to set-photography I did for a movie (Julie Keeps Quiet)! Small personal goals.

The force is with you

I try to define everyone’s strengths and use those in a project. Even on-set, if I notice someone will have a certain edge, a certain view, that will benefit the client or project, I will try to push them to tap into that and follow their guts. Besides that, my excessive list of movies and series i’ve consumed tend to help me a lot on any visual level – combined with my love for it, of course.
